Best app out there fr tinnitus!

I am grateful for this app. By combining Slow Waves, Crickets and the Evening music I have a distraction from my tinnitus when in a quiet environment. The crickets are somewhat near my tinnitus, but not the same. By playing the combination of sounds at a volume a little less than my tinnitus I believe it distracts my mind and perhaps help train my subconscious to get used to and de-emphasize the tinnitus over time. I am very grateful for this. I have also found the OTO app’s CBT approach helpful as I work on managing my tinnitus. Thank you and good will to all.

I started out with ReSound hearing aids but they weren’t the best fit for me. My Dr gave me Oticon which work better. I am happy to say that I can still use the Tinnitus Relief app even though I now have a different brand of hearing aid. Because of the easy customization, I have found some relief. The tinnitus is still ever present and quite loud, but having the background sounds do help. Thank you for your efforts to help people like me, and for offering this app for free. It’s truly helpful.

The sounds on this app are great for me. I just received hearing aids to relieve my tinnitus. The background sounds help tremendously during the day ( off n on) and in the evening to relax before bedtime! Would definitely recommend this app! Thank you!

This app has been really beneficial in soothing my tinnitus. The guided meditations are lovely, the soundscapes are relaxing and customizable which is awesome. Highly recommended.

I like the simplicity of the app. I like that I can create layered sounds for my tinnitus. The extra feature like meditation and breathing exercises are cool too.

I have to keep redownloading the app. The sound turns off when my phone auto-locks.

Hearing test option is not working.

I like to use this throughout the day. It helps my tinnitus to a certain extent. I wish there was a few choices. Maybe jazz music. Just a thought

Helps with ears ringing and kids like it as well for our bed time routine.

App definitely provides needed relief from tinnitus helps cancel out continuous buzzing.

It’s great tinnitus relief for the 10 minutes that it works! As soon as I minimize the app or the phone auto shuts off, the app stops. What good is tinnitus relief if you are only able to get it for 10 minutes at a time?? I called Resound tech support and was on hold for an hour. Then the tech said they are aware of the problem, but there is no fix that he knew of! Useless app and therefore, useless hearing aids for what I need. They are going back tomorrow and I’ll find something that actually works for tinnitus!

I like that you can have more than one sound. I have phonak hearing aids and it has a tinnitus balance app, but you have to have your audiologist set it up and can only chose one “ white” noise. Its not that great: I would like to know what more sounds you get if you purchase the additional functions. Joy

They will not connect to my hearing aids if I use my ear buds.

I don’t know if it’s me or my phone or the app. I LOVE the features of the app but even setting the timer I can’t seem to be able to keep it playing for more than a couple of minutes. Very frustrating.

This is really helping me through tinnitus spikes. When it is bad, I can play the sounds through the app into my hearing aids. Right now, I’m enjoying the Evening Forest soundscape. Thank you for this fantastic app.

It keeps turning itself off. When it works, it’s not bad.

This is just a noise maker, there’s nothing specifically tailored about this for people with tinnitus…

It would be nice for this app to have more sounds so it would be cool

Great collection of nature, calm music and pink noise etc allows you to create your own background sounds. Perfect tool.

Very good and helpful

The app only works when the phone is unlocked and the app is open. Open another app and the sound stops. Lock the phone and the sound stops. It’s useless like this

I cannot believe this app is free. I only wanted all of the sounds available to help manage my tinnitus- nothing more…and this delivers. Thank you!!!!

Not sure how I missed this during the trial but this app will only work if the Relief App is open. As soon as you open anything else, regardless of that other app playing sounds or not, Relief stops playing. Outside of that, I like the app, but not being able to do anything else on your phone while you have this in the background makes it worthless.

I’d highly recommend this app to anyone, thank you to its developers for making it accessible for free.

Really works for tinnitus.

I downloaded this app after my girlfriend recommended it and I was tearing up from the relief. It’s not a miracle worker but it really does help.

It helps quiet tinnitus when it gets too loud…

Free. Customizable. Simple.

I love this app. I can quickly turn it in to find a bit of relief from my tinnitus but also from other distracting sounds around me. I think my favorite is that I can customize the sounds and make them appeal to me instead of just generic white noise.

Very peaceful sounds not only provide relief from tinnitus.

Good app but I don’t want to pay that much monthly. It is impossible to cancel!

Amazed at how quickly this has worked! I don’t have to “try” to make it happen. Just turn on (my favorite is beach waves) and go one with my day!

The soothing sounds help relieve the constant humming breaking it up some funny too you can choose a forest fire and add birds chirping which I doubt they for sure would be screaming but that’s another story

Recommended by VA. It’s ok but of course not covered by VA so not getting subscription. Recently it always tells me to sign into iCloud to save everything…no. This annoying reminder needs to go away. The app was better several yrs ago.

The application, lost all of my preset Soundscapes. And I had the all fine tuned. Is there anyway to get those back how they were?? Thank you.

Tried all the “fixes” on the Resound website but the app will not connect to my hearing aids.

It would be nice if you had an option to automatically repeat sound and volume you had the night before. Thanks
